Our engineering team can perform substation design, arc flash analysis and awareness training, coordination & short circuit studies, load flow & power quality analysis, testing and commissioning of substations, and plant load surveys.
Ainsworth can help you manage your assets by performing transformer oil analysis and infrared thermography along with substation maintenance to keep your operations running smoothly.

We understand practical asset planning, predictive maintenance, and proactive protection of your equipment helps to optimize performance levels and prevent unscheduled failures. We also carry a large inventory of motors and parts, and continue to partner with industry-leading suppliers as their authorized sales and service distributors.
Our team works with you to provide AC/DC motor sales & remanufacturing; motor removal and installation; laser alignment, motor and transformer rewind; mechanical and eddy current drives; energy efficient rewind; fan units, gear reducer, and pump overhaul/repair; servo motors; equipment re-engineering and remanufacturing; on-site inspections, balancing, and service; vacuum pressure impregnation systems; and dynamometer load test analysis and endurance tests.
Our experts can perform vibration analysis, winding analysis, lubrication and rotor analysis, core loss testing, ultrasonic detection, and infrared inspection.
The motor service centre is ISO 9001 CSA Z299.3:1985 certified, and is a CSA-certified explosion-proof facility – offering full machine shop and fabrication services, offsite repair capabilities and a large inventory of motors and pumps. Our industry qualified motor and pump technicians and electricians can perform nuclear recognized rewinds and repairs, and the centre can provide off-site storage for large motors and VFDs.
