Bilingual Marketing Associate

Job Summary:

The Bilingual Marketing Associate supports the organization through the development of high quality business proposals, support and maintenance of electronic compliance / qualification tools, and the maintenance of customer profiling and customer opportunities (within CRM system) in both French and English.  Additionally, the role will support marketing initiatives influencing Sales performance, customer loyalty and corporate communications.


Key Responsibilities

Proposal Administration / Support:

  • Management of client pre-qualification / compliance software tools and systems, including coordination with other internal departments.
  • Creation and ongoing maintenance of standard and non-standard proposals and templates to support sales efforts
  • Review and response management of technical RFQs and Bid Specification documents
  • Follow up on proposals, internal quotations and other customer facing activities as directed and required

CRM Support

  • Daily maintenance of new / current customer profiling to support the CRM system
  • User support on an as required basis


Education and Experience

  • Fully fluent and business working proficient and excellent command in both French and English with excellent grammatical, writing and proofreading skills, comfortable to conduct translation from one to the other language and in providing editorial content in either language
  • A minimum of 3-5 years’ experience leading and developing proposals and responding to RFQ / RFP documents
  • Experience supporting a proposal team and driving to a deadline
  • Self-driver and able to manage and plan competing priorities
  • Industry experience in technical trades (mechanical, electrical, HVAC, power systems, high voltage, utility power construction, motors, pumps, etc.), construction, construction management, project management, Public Private Partnerships (P3s), facility management, or related industries
  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics and/or Salesfore CRMs from both a user and an administration perspective
  • Possess a University degree / College diploma in the area of Marketing, Business Administration or related area of study
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills and possess the ability to proactively manage a contributing team to achieve a desired outcome
  • A strong and experienced technical writer with ability to articulate methodologies and approaches in a clear and concisely manner
  • A strong attention to detail
  • An enthusiastic team player with a strong motivation to succeed 
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook), Adobe Acrobat and Adobe InDesign. 
  • Knowledge in Visio, Photoshop, Illustrator or similar applications
  • Knowledge in web-design and/or web-layout an asset
